Designing a Bookshelf.
I needed a bookshelf for my room, and opted to design one from scratch. Makes use of angle iron, steel flat stock, and 6/4 cherry from a local lumber yard. Project steps include initial drawing and ideation, modeling within Solidworks, rendering withing Keyshot, and finally construction then assembly in the garage. The angle iron is unfinished, and the wood received three coats of Tung oil.
